What Black Forest Labs released

Black Forest Labs introduced FLUX 3 Image Klein on October 15, 2026 as a 5.6B-parameter open-weights image model. The official announcement describes text-to-image generation, image editing and multi-reference generation with up to ten reference images. It also describes native 4K output and layout control using bounding boxes. Those are model capabilities; a particular website or API may expose only a subset.

Build a brief around the final use

For a product image, identify the product, must-keep details, lighting and the part of the frame reserved for copy. For a social post, choose the target crop and safe area first. These choices make it easier to compare generated candidates with the original need, regardless of model settings.

Try this: rewrite the brief using details that a viewer could point to in the image.

Check the actual API before using controls

This independent site currently calls three third-party image models through Kie.ai. It does not offer FLUX 3 Image Klein generation; check the selected model name in the studio before submitting a task.

Where to start

Open a product, creator or marketing example in the prompt library. Rewrite its subject and layout for your own task, then use the studio to check your brief and canvas. For verified model information, read Black Forest Labs' October 15, 2026 release at https://bfl.ai/blog/flux-3-image-klein .
