Describe the story in one sentence
State who or what is on screen and what changes. A simple transformation, reveal, or journey is easier to storyboard than a list of unrelated shots.
Plan three distinct beats
Write an opening frame that establishes the scene, a middle beat that shows the main action, and a closing frame that resolves or reframes the idea. Give each beat one clear visual purpose.
Try this: rewrite the brief using details that a viewer could point to in the image.
Keep continuity in view
Record the subject's appearance, environment, key light, and palette so the frames feel connected. Note which movement belongs to the camera and which belongs to the subject.
Treat a storyboard as a planning document
A storyboard helps align a team before production. The studio offers selected video models; check their current duration and reference controls before submitting.
